SIGYN'S TEMPLE - OPEN LOG
![]() Who: ANYONE; Sigyn may or may not appear if asked to (and even if not!) What: Any interactions that take place in Sigyn's temple. When: ANYTIME; the temple does not lock or close in any way, and this log is permanently open. Where: Teitr Morginn, in Sigyn's district. Rating: Please take anything adult rated to a private log; everything else is welcome. This is a permanent open log for anything that takes place in Sigyn's temple. Using this log is completely optional and you are welcome to use the log community instead. This is just one easy way to get an NPC handler's eyes on something you may want Sigyn to be aware of, whether the goddess actually makes an appearance in your thread or not. You are welcome to play out threads with other characters as well, or even just leave your own comment of something your character is doing alone in the temple. This is a completely open action log for literally anything. If your character wishes to make contact with Sigyn, you can simply leave a comment here with an OOC note or plot it out ahead of time! How your character attempts to gain her attention is their choice, just as it is her choice whether or not to respond. Comments on this post are valid for AC. ![]() navigation. |
backdated; a week or two after Melisandre was dropped from the game
At least it's less so in her later years.
Sigyn's temple is far from any sort of place of worship she'd imagined. Open and free, yes. The skies overhead, a tease of the freedom she once had with Drogon. Lady Olenna might've appreciated the flowers. Or, more appropriately for her temperament, she'd have scoffed and mocked the place. Missandei would like this place; she might've braided one of the flowers into her dear friend's hair.
Dany doesn't have much to her expression. Her hands are folded in front of her as she approaches the fountain. Silver hair is down this morning, half braided and coiled into a makeshift crown by the back of her head. She's in a loose, black dress. ]
This world took me from my dragons and people. [ This is not meant to be a pleasant greeting. She's tired and worried. ] I'm no longer the Unburnt because of the magic here. I cannot fly with my children. [ It's the first time she's voiced these things with someone other than Jon and Melisandre... what's to say Sigyn is even listening? ] Melisandre — the red priestess — she was here, and now she is not. Why? Where has she gone?
[ She was someone who might've become her friend, if given enough time. The thought makes her lips thin. It takes her a moment to concentrate, to coax a small flame to life in the palm of her hand. ]
This cannot replace people or what I am meant to be.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your friend... unfortunately, I don't think there's a satisfactory answer to that.
Short of answers, what can I do to help?

[ That's the flash of temper, the dragon peeling back its lips to flash its teeth. Riddles and dancing around answers has never been something she's handled well. Just as quick as it comes, she purses her lips, looking away. Nostrils flared, she stares long and hard at one of the rosebushes. ]
I can't tell you how many times I've been told I am the queen of nothing. Madness runs in my family's blood — and never once have I felt as mad as I do here, now. [ When she looks back at Sigyn, she returns the goddess' frown with one of her own. ] We've died coming here that first day, didn't we? Did she die to return home?
[ Some proper worshipping ]
Once Sigyn opens it, she will find an assortment of four different types of cakes inside: chocolate with orange filling, strawberry, carrot cake, and tiramisu. Have a tasty afternoon! ]
